With the large amount found on our hard drives, finding the right one in an instant is an essential part of the computing experience. Sadly, this is not always the case for most users. A typical computer would contains files that had been stored for a long time. As users continue to upgrade their hardware and transfer files from an old computer, most of the filing conventions are compromised.

Online search engine technologies have surpassed desktop search capabilities to the point that people find it easier to find something online than on their desktop computers. Most PC users are frustrated by this limitation because data they accumulated over the years can produce historical and relevant information not found elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the built-in search engine found on the windows operating system is inadequate for more advanced user queries, especially when the content being sought is found inside a document or an electronic mail message.
